After the race we’ll have more candy and fun inside the Sustainability Education Center – be sure to check it out! Parking Parking is available onsite at The Preserve at Lakewood, 220 Lakewood Drive. Whatever challenges our kids face, we’re here to support the positive role models in their lives and provide unique ways for them to find their inner strength. This race is part of the Upstate Giving Series, which connects local races with the nonprofits they support. Good to Know Who can take part? Everyone. This is a run/walk for kids and grown-ups alike, so bring the family and go at your own pace. Do I have to wear a costume? No, but costumes are strongly encouraged. Pick something you can comfortably run or walk in on grass. Can I sign up on race day? Yes. Online registration stays open until the 11:00 AM start on race day. Anything to know about the clocks? Daylight saving time ends early that Sunday morning, so clocks fall back one hour before race day begins. The 11:00 AM start is on the new time.
