Lace Up for the 13th Annual Trot n’ Gobble! Start your Thanksgiving Day with a burst of energy and community spirit! Join us on Thursday, November 26th, 2026 for the 13th Annual Trot n’ Gobble—a festive 5K & 10K run along the scenic Nickel Plate Trail. Prefer a slower pace? We’ve got a 5K walk option too! Proceeds benefit the amazing youth of the Peru Circus City Festival—your steps help support their hard work and creativity! Race Details Location: Nickel Plate Trail, Peru, IN Race Day Registration: Begins at 6:45 AM at Anytime Fitness (907 W Main Street, Peru, IN) Race Start Time: 8:00 AM Registration Perks Pre-registered runners receive a long-sleeved race shirt First 200 registrants also earn a participation medal Deadline for pre-registration: November 20th, 2026 Race day registration available, but shirts are not guaranteed Packet Pickup Early pickup: Wednesday, November 25th from 6–8 PM at the Peru Circus Building Race Day Pickup: Thursday November 26th from 6:45-7:45 AM at Anytime Fitness We’re using RFID chip timing provided by J3 Timing for accurate results. Your chip is built into your bib and is fully disposable—no returns needed! Bring the Whole Family! Whether you're racing, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, come celebrate the holiday with us.
