These terms apply to racethere.com and to the RaceThere connector for Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants. By using either, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use RaceThere.

Race information

Race listings come from organizers through RunSignUp. We refresh them regularly, but organizers change dates, courses, prices and availability, and listings can be incomplete or out of date. Check the organizer's registration page before you register, travel or train for a race.

Registration and payment

You register and pay on RunSignUp or the organizer's site, not on RaceThere. That agreement is between you and them, under their terms. Contact the organizer about refunds, transfers, cancellations and race rules.

Calculators and guides

Our calculators and guides give general estimates and information. They aren't medical, coaching or professional advice. Running carries a risk of injury, so check with a qualified professional before you start or change a training plan.

AI assistants

The RaceThere connector supplies race information and calculator results to your AI assistant. The assistant writes its own answers, and they can contain mistakes, so confirm important details on the race's RaceThere page or registration page. Your use of the assistant is governed by its provider's terms.

Fair use

You may use RaceThere for your own race planning. Please don't:

• scrape the site or the connector, or send automated requests at a volume that burdens them
• resell or republish RaceThere listings as your own service
• try to break, overload or get around the security of RaceThere
• use RaceThere for anything unlawful

We may block traffic that does these things, and we may change or withdraw any part of RaceThere at any time.

Content

Race names, descriptions and logos belong to their organizers. RaceThere's own guides, tools, design and code belong to us. You can share links to RaceThere pages freely.

Links to other sites

RaceThere links to registration pages and other sites that we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content or practices.

No warranty

RaceThere is free and provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it, including that it will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or error-free.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, RaceThere and its team aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for losses that come from relying on race information, calculator results or AI assistant answers. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top when we do, and continuing to use RaceThere after an update means you accept it.
