About the race

Cody Regional Health and Wyo Hoofbeats are excited to partner for Tails and Trails, a fun-filled 5K event designed to raise funds for Wyo Hoofbeats and promote the incredible animal therapy program at Cody Regional Health. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or want to stroll with your four-legged friend, this event welcomes participants of all fitness levels! Enjoy a course that winds through Cody’s scenic residential neighborhoods and along the beautiful Shoshone River with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Runners can take advantage of a flat and fast route, while walkers and dog-walkers can choose a more relaxed, scenic pace. Early Registration is $35.00 until 7:00 am, August 7, 2027.  Late Registration from 7:00 am August 7, 2027 until 8:00 a.m., the morning of the event is $40.00 🎽 Your registration includes: An exclusive event t-shirt A swag bag filled with useful and fun goodies 📍 Packet Pick-Up Times: Early Pick-Up: Friday, August 6, 2027 | 4:00–6:00 PM Cody Regional Health – Monument Entrance 707 Sheridan Avenue, Cody, WY 82414 Race Day Packet Pick-Up: Saturday morning beginning at 7:00 AM at the Monument Entrance Join us as we move for a cause, support therapeutic animal care, and build community — one pawprint at a time!
