Running for Children, Hope, and a Healthier Future Join the University of North Florida Student Nurses Association for a day dedicated to compassion, community, and meaningful impact. Every step taken helps support research, resources, and brighter futures for the families who need it most. As part of our mission to support children with disabilities, this year’s 5K proudly benefits the Alagille Syndrome Alliance (ALGSA) — a nonprofit devoted to improving the lives of children and families affected by Alagille syndrome. ----- Alagille syndrome is a rare genetic condition that can impact the liver, heart, kidneys, and other vital systems. Families navigating this diagnosis often face significant medical challenges and limited treatment options. ALGSA works tirelessly to change that by: - Funding research toward better treatments and future cures - Providing education and resources for families - Supporting global awareness and advocacy - Building a compassionate, connected community Your participation directly fuels these efforts and brings hope to children who deserve every opportunity to thrive.
