GRIT Turkey Trot 5K 🦃 Kick off your Thanksgiving morning with GRIT Training Co. at our annual Turkey Trot 5K! Whether you're chasing a PR, jogging with friends, walking with family, or just looking to get some miles in before Thanksgiving dinner, this event is for YOU! Join us for a fun morning of fitness, community, and a little friendly competition. Runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels are welcome—and you do not have to be a GRIT member to participate! 📍 Location: Asheboro, NC 📅 Date: Thanksgiving Day — November 26, 2026 🏃 Distance: 5K (3.1 miles) ⏱️ Chip Timed: All registered participants will receive an official chip-timed result 🏅 Finisher Medal: Every registered participant will receive a medal Kids Under 10 Kids under 10 are welcome to show up and run or walk the 5K for FREE—no registration required! If you'd like your child to receive a finisher medal and an official chip-timed result, they will need to be registered as a paid participant. 5K Course Check out the official Turkey Trot 5K route on Strava.
