Sign up to participate in the 11th Annual 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk for Brain Injury Awareness presented by Ohio State's Chronic Brain Injury Program. This event is hosted by the undergraduate student organization Buckeyes Raising Awareness in Neuroscience (BRAIN). This event takes place at the RPAC North Plaza, near The Buckeye Bike Hub (337 Annie and John Glenn Ave). All proceeds directly benefit brain injury survivors, including through our NeuroNights program, a joint initiative between The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, The Ohio State University Chronic Brain Injury program, and BRAIN to provide comprehensive communal and wellness support for brain injury survivors. Last year's race proceeds benefitted the following: We awarded a $500 scholarship to Alexia Marie Toliver recipient of the Mark Minister Award and donated $500 on her behalf to Nationwide Children's Brain Research We contributed $4,000 to fund our third annual Brain Injury Community Day We contributed $5,000 to fund our first annual Brain Injury Gala partnered with the Center for Brain Injury Recovery and Discovery (CBIRD)
